Shun

Viewer discretion advised, no minors allowed.As a side note, you may notice inconsistent tattoos between the beginning of the month and the end. My custom tattoos was completed on the 10th, so previous images have placeholder tattoos. I felt it wouldn't be honest to the challenge to go back and redo them, so the old ones stay. Solitude
Try as he might to fit in, and try as the others might to include him, Shun had always felt separate from the other Warriors of Light: a little too crazy, and worse at socializing than even Deimos.(Isolation, Solitude, same thing.)
02.
Reverie
It was often easy for Shun to get lost in thought throughout ARR and HW, drifting between moments in a comfortable, uninterrupted grey, without really taking much in beyond the surface of things.

Detail
In perfect time for Sunday (because I'm a couple days behind and catching up), a completely unrelated image of Shun's eye for detail....Me too, Shun. Me too.(There were a dozen canvases before he was done.)

New Hair
After arriving in Tuliyollal, the group went their separate ways. Shun offered to take Zenos to hunt Tural Vidraals while the latter trained as a Viper, but before all that were a few moments of quiet -- and new outfits.

Desire
A power previously unimaginable, a primal consumed... Were it not for his friends dragging him back, he would have eagerly taken up Zenos' offer to join him.
06.
Dream
Shun's dreams are vivid and colourful, and often in his sleep his paints will slip from his control and taint the emotions of those around him. Sleeping with Zenos seems to ground him and lessen this.

Privacy
.....or perhaps more accurately, the lack thereof. Shun... isn't very good at observing personal space and boundaries, as many in the Threads of Fate AU have discovered the hard way.

Weakness
Most of the other members of the Threads of Fate AU could probably have fought off Fandaniel were he to grab and abduct them, but Shun? Shun didn't even try.. How could he possibly resist such a fascinating palette?

Dance
Not precisely a moment that necessarily ever happened, more just a Vibe™/aesthetic gpose I wanted to do.(That's not to say it /can't/ have happened, merely that I just wanted to do this pose.)

Spring
Early on in his adult life, Shun was struck by a sensation unlike anything he'd ever felt. With his dynamis out of control, he almost blacked out for almost a full week, coming to his senses with all around him dead in horrific ways.

Fresh
Fresh new outfits, a fresh new hobby, and a city fresh to Zenos, even if not Shun.(....and, OOCly speaking, FRESH NEW TATTOOS BECAUSE HIS CUSTOM TATTOO MOD IS FINALLY DONE I'M SO GODDAMN EXCITED!!!!)

Free Space
Lorem enim ultrices tempus ante phasellus amet suscipit nisi augue pulvinar tempus varius sociis etiam curae ata neque risus quisque in phasellus.

Ember
Shun may put a lot of work into suppressing and quieting his emotions, but even he can't manage to fully silence the joy he feels around the adorable little baby dragon.
15.
Sense
Sometimes the world can be a little too loud, a little too much for Shun. And sometimes, during those times, Zenos takes him aside to cut off his senses and very thoroughly... 'distract' him.
16.
Resplendence
Thavnair, a country of colours and of inspiration, where Shun loves to find little abandoned corners of Radz-at-Han and just paint and paint and paint with all the vibrance of the city.
17.
Heart
After the events of Stormblood, Shun found himself adrift. What was left for him in a world without Zenos in it?While he searched for that answer, he painted Shinryu upon his body, permanently coiled up his left arm and reaching toward his heart.

Rain
After inadvertently killing all his friends, Shun returned to the mountains amidst a torrential rainstorm, seeking refuge in a cave that would become his home for the next more than 200 years.
19.
Pastel
Next to Zenos, even the brightest of colours become mere pastels, nothing capable of competing with Shun's fixation on him.
20.
Free Space
Self-indulgent "I love Shun in Radz-at-Han with its rainbows" gpose. There's no particular story significance to this, but I needed to redo some of the images from his future carrd, so I'm using this free space to justify it. :p
21.
Favourite Zone
Shun wasn't able to be called to the First, as his aether was too weak to be moved, but if he had... I imagine he would have very much enjoyed painting the vibrant colours of Il Mheg.(So not ICly a favourite zone, but easily my fave OOCly.)

Flower
Much like the Elpis flower from Endwalker, Shun counts as an entelechy, able to see and wield dynamis thanks to his particularly thin/weak aether.He'd lived for ~300 years without knowing why he was the way he was, and Elpis finally brought answers.
23.
Euphoria
Nothing brings Shun such intense, strong emotions as being near Zenos, regardless of what form that may take, able to share such bliss right back through his wielding of Dynamis.
24.
Whispers
A hero in one ear, whispering to be good and save people, and an ascian in the other, encouraging him to indulge in his deepest, darkest influences. Behind it all.. Looming over Shun's life is the man that has consumed him since they first fought.
25.
Jump
Unable to let go of Fandaniel, Shun jumped after him, no plan in his mind beyond his obsessive unwillingness to let the ascian go.Fortunately for him, he was retrieved by Zenos, who swooped in to save him as Shinryu just as Fandaniel reached Zodiark.
26.
Sky
Shun had traveled the length of Tural by land once, but never by sky. Soaring and sweeping through the air and alternating between a perch atop Shinryu's head and being carried by claws when he tired was beyond anything he could have imagined.
27.
Sad
Shun wasn't in time to stop Zenos, and as the life faded from the former prince's eyes, so too did the colours fade from Shun's world, leaving only the echoes of man and dragon to break through the grey-blue around him.
28.
Drifting
The longer he went without sight of his mirror, the less vibrant the world seemed to be. Shun sank deeper and deeper into that endless monotone grey, even the sites of their fights unable to stir more than the thinnest of colours from him.
29.
Direct
After being retrieved from Zenos' and Fandaniel's clutches, Shun found himself with certain... 'appetites' that he turned to Sett to sate, and which he was 'less than subtle' about.
30.
Paradox
Time travel, closed loops, recursive actions... It all made very little sense to Shun, and thought he understood more than Deimos (who had little patience for it), that really wasn't saying much...
